Exchange

Good morning!
We are two weeks away from our holidays and will only be back beginning of February.

I presented the project last week at the Board meeting...parents got interested and reacted favourably to your visit here. I also got a favourable opinion from a representative from the cultural department. Our director however, did not mention anything about receiving your headmistress' fax and still does not see the point of the project. Tell me if she got an answer... I will ask the secretary here whether he got it.

We have to go on working slowly and building it up on both sides.

This is why I would like to set some guidelines for our exchange so that we do not lose track.

First of all, I would like to have the list of your students so that I could pair them with mine before we leave on holidays - some of yours have already introduced themselves in beeonline (Walter, Claudia, Daniela, Giuseppe) but we still do not know well the others. Perhaps each one of them could write a short paragraph introducing themselves and you could send it to me by mail so as to not reveal details in a public blogger. I only have one of classes this semester but next year I will have both, so will ask the other class to join us as well.

Second, I was thinking of making a lesson plan both classes could follow and we could compare results. Mine will only be able to answer this next year, as we won't have time to do it in these two weeks but yours could already do it and you could send me the results. We could also envisage working inside a closed community, where students can later exchange documents, chat and work. Would you be willing?

This weekend I got an email from a lady in Milan who got interested in the project. I will forward you the mail I received and answered so that you can contact her if you wish.

So these are the latest news my friend. Hope to read you soon.
